BBC Chartering Launches Monthly Service

Multipurpose shipper BBC Chartering has launched a monthly service connecting the Persian Gulf, India and Australia.

The new route will be served by the BBC Brisbane, which will call at Mumbai, Chennai, Port Kelang and Brisbane. The heavy-lift cargo service will commence with 18 consecutive monthly voyages to transport new train-coaches for Queensland’s “new generation rollingstock” project.

“We are pleased that BBC Chartering was selected as carrier of choice to serve this seminal project, convincing all stakeholders of the highest service standards in project shipping,” said Svend Andersen, CEO of BBC Chartering.

BBC Chartering owns a fleet of 150 ships ranging in capacity from 3,500 to 37,500 deadweight tonnes, and operates the largest global project chartering network with more than 400 project shipping professionals across its 31 offices worldwide.
