Delta Maritime Delivers For TAP Station

Logistics provider Delta Maritime has delivered parts for a Trans Adriatic Pipeline Compressing Station to Kipoi in Evros, Northern Greece.

The outsized components included three Siemens gas turbines, each weighing 36 tonnes, three Siemens turbo compressors, each weighing 26.7 tonnes and three Siemens oil cooling units each weighing 10.7 tonnes as well as 500 tonnes of turbine and compressor accessories.

Delta Maritime's scope of work included logstics services on arrival at the port of Piraeus, special transport services via low-bed trailers and discharge of cargo to the site's storage area. Delta Maritime is a member of the Project Cargo Network, a breakbulk association of ISO 9001 and 14001 certified project cargo and heavy-lift specialists.

The network recently reported that RSL Freight Lanka had become its newest member in Sri Lanka, offering project cargo, heavy-lift, freight, shipping, customs brokerage and consolidation services.
