Maritime Synergy Moves Klang Transformer

Logistics firm Maritime Synergy has transported a transformer and accessories from Thailand to Malaysia.

The consignment measured 225 cubic meters in volume and the main body unit weighed 47.5 tonnes. Maritime Synergy arranged for shipment via the charter vessel Nordana Sophie from Laem Chabang to Port Klang.

“It was very challenging to fix a suitable vessel within the time frame given with a very limited budget,” a spokesperson for Maritime Synergy said.

A member of the XL Projects network, Maritime Synergy is based in Laem Chabang, Thailand.

Fellow XLP member Freight Traders also recently arranged a breakbulk shipment, importing a drilling rig to  New Zealand.
